Jeremy Wood
Owner + CEO
Jeremy has spent his career bringing ambitious ideas to life. With more than a decade of experience managing high-end commercial and residential projects, including work on Apple Park, Facebook MPK22, and David Geffen Hall, he brings a depth of experience in craftsmanship, coordination, and complex construction to every Jensen + Sons home.
Before joining Jensen + Sons, Jeremy spent seven years as a Senior Project Manager at Fetzer's Architectural Millwork, where he developed a deep appreciation for the precision, planning, and attention to detail required at the highest levels of custom millwork. That experience continues to shape the way he sees a home today. He understands how decisions made early in construction affect the details that come much later, and he is constantly looking ahead to ensure the finished result lives up to the original vision.
Jeremy is also a problem solver at heart. He is energized by the details and design ideas that require the team to think differently, collaborate closely, and find a way forward. When a designer or client brings an ambitious idea to the table, his instinct is not to ask why it cannot be done, but to begin thinking about how it can. He believes exceptional homes require both discipline and creativity, and he enjoys bringing together the right people and expertise to turn challenging ideas into beautifully executed details.
Relationships are equally important to the way Jeremy leads. He values mutual trust, friendship, and respect with the trade partners who work alongside Jensen + Sons and believes the best work comes from teams who are genuinely invested in one another and in what they are creating together. He brings that same care to his clients, taking the time to know them, understand what matters to them, and build relationships that extend well beyond the project itself.
Jeremy joined Jensen + Sons as Vice President of Operations, working closely alongside founder Ron Jensen to strengthen the systems, craftsmanship, and standards behind the company. Ron became both a mentor and a close friend, and their shared belief in refinement, integrity, and doing things the right way remains an important part of Jensen + Sons today.
Now, as Owner and CEO, Jeremy is focused not only on protecting those values, but continuing to build upon them. His drive for excellence is rooted in a simple belief: there is always an opportunity to make something better. Whether solving a difficult construction detail, collaborating on an ambitious design, or finding a better way to serve a client, Jeremy brings curiosity, energy, and an uncompromising commitment to crafting homes at an exceptional level.
Shyrel Wood
VP of Marketing & Client Relations
As Vice President of Marketing and Client Relations, Shyrel brings together a lifelong love of people with a passion for creating thoughtful, meaningful experiences. She believes the way clients feel throughout the process of building their home should reflect the same level of care and intention found in the home itself.
Shyrel holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in education and spent more than a decade teaching and working in education at both the K-12 and university levels. While completing her undergraduate degree, she was recognized nationally for her work as a student. Her experience in teaching, curriculum development, and leadership shaped her ability to listen carefully, communicate clearly, and take something complex and make it feel understandable and approachable.
Her background also includes event planning and design, community leadership, and second-home management, experiences that have strengthened her ability to anticipate needs, coordinate countless details, and create environments where people feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. At the heart of each of these roles has been the same thing: people. Shyrel loves getting to know others, hearing their stories, and understanding what matters most to them.
At Jensen + Sons, Shyrel helps shape both the client experience and the way the company shares its story. Working closely with the team, clients, and design partners, she looks for thoughtful ways to make the building journey feel personal, intentional, and connected from the first conversation through the years that follow.
As Jeremy's wife, Shyrel is deeply invested in the future of Jensen + Sons and in carrying forward the values that have shaped the company from the beginning. For her, crafting an exceptional home is only part of the story. Creating an experience and a relationship worthy of that home matters just as much.
Shawn Roberts
General Site Superintendent
With more than 20 years of experience in high-end finish carpentry, Shawn brings a craftsman's eye to every stage of the building process. His background has given him a deep understanding of how the decisions made early in construction ultimately shape the quality and precision of the finished home.

Exceptionally detail-oriented and quality-driven, Shawn is committed to doing things the right way and building at the highest level. His broad knowledge across multiple trades allows him to anticipate challenges, solve problems thoughtfully, and keep each project moving forward with careful planning and attention to detail.

As a former business owner, Shawn also understands the importance of communication, accountability, and collaboration. He works closely with clients, interior designers, and trade partners, taking the time to understand the vision for each home and the details that matter most to the people behind it.

Above all, Shawn takes genuine pride in his work. His combination of craftsmanship, experience, and care reflects the standard Jensen + Sons brings to every home we craft.
Ryan Jensen
Project Engineer
As the son of Jensen + Sons founder Ron Jensen, Ryan grew up around homebuilding and learned firsthand the value of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and taking pride in a job done well. Those early lessons continue to shape the way Ryan approaches his work today.

As Project Engineer, Ryan plays an important role in the estimating and preconstruction process, supporting the team through detailed takeoffs, thorough walkthroughs, and careful planning. Having spent much of his life around exceptional homes, Ryan has developed an instinct for noticing the things others might overlook. He understands what it takes to craft a home well.
​
Ryan brings a broad range of knowledge to his role and is always willing to step in wherever he is needed. Whether helping a teammate solve a problem, reviewing the details of an upcoming project, or supporting the team in the field, he approaches each task with a positive attitude and a commitment to doing it well.

His easygoing nature and genuine willingness to help make Ryan someone clients, trade partners, and team members feel comfortable working alongside. He carries forward the values he learned from his father while bringing his own perspective, thoughtfulness, and care to every Jensen + Sons project.
Chris Doubek
Site Superintendent
With more than 15 years of hands-on construction experience, Chris brings a well-rounded perspective to every home he helps create. His background spans framing, complete home remodels, new construction, and building maintenance, giving him an understanding not only of how exceptional homes are built, but how thoughtful craftsmanship and careful decisions contribute to their quality for years to come.

Chris is detail-oriented, hardworking, and committed to continually expanding his knowledge. He approaches each project with care and integrity, always looking for ways to improve the process and deliver the best possible result.

Just as important to Chris are the relationships built along the way. He values clear communication and mutual respect, creating strong working relationships with clients, designers, and trade partners. He genuinely cares about the people he works with and wants the building experience to be as positive as the home itself.

Chris brings a combination of practical knowledge, thoughtful attention, and genuine care to the Jensen + Sons team, helping ensure each home is crafted with both today and the years ahead in mind.
Billy Nelson
Site Superintendent
For Billy, building has been part of life for as long as he can remember. His dad first taught him how to use tools when he was 12, and before long, Billy was putting those skills to work building ramps for his bike. By 18, he was working on a remodeling crew and beginning what has grown into more than 15 years of hands-on construction experience.
​
Over the years, Billy has worked across nearly every stage of construction, from concrete and framing to finish carpentry, with experience in both residential and commercial projects. That broad foundation gives him the ability to understand how the many layers of a project come together and to work effectively alongside the skilled trade partners who bring each detail to life.
​
Today, Billy serves as a superintendent with a focus on remodels, where his problem-solving nature and remarkable attention to detail are especially valuable. He enjoys the challenge of working through complex conditions and finding the right solution, always pursuing the highest level of quality. An excellent communicator with an exceptional memory for details, Billy keeps the many moving pieces of a project connected and moving forward.

Billy is also never afraid to step in and work alongside the team when needed. Whether he is planning ahead, solving an unexpected challenge, or getting his hands dirty to keep a project moving, he brings the same sense of ownership to the work. For Billy, the goal is always to see the job through and to see it done exceptionally well.
Janae van Leeuwen
Office Manager
As Office Manager, Janae plays an essential role in keeping the many details behind Jensen + Sons organized, connected, and moving forward. With a diverse background in banking, bookkeeping, inventory management, vacation rental management, and office administration, she brings a broad range of experience and a natural ability to manage multiple priorities with both efficiency and care.

Highly organized and hardworking, Janae approaches her role with integrity, excellence, and a determination to see things through. She enjoys solving problems and taking on new challenges, and once something has her attention, she stays with it until it is handled. Her thoughtful communication and attention to detail help create consistency and support across the entire team.

Janae is deeply invested in Jensen + Sons and takes genuine pride in the part she plays in each project. She understands that exceptional craftsmanship is supported by countless details behind the scenes, and she works to ensure those details are handled with the same level of care and quality expected in every home.
